Well here's to the end of a fantastic 2006 and the start of 2007. I thought I might as well blog once more before the end of 2006, just because I can.
I know I should blog more... but eh.. Blogs are meant to be neglected I figure. I have some plans for this site soonish so as soon as I get into gear (in about 3 months say) it should be all good.
In recent news, the passing away of James Brown is quite depressing.. makes me wish that I went to see him in concert in Sydney in February. Sniff. Oh well. He was a ripe age of 73 which is quite good for a musician really (when you look at others... Mr Mercury, Marvin, or Bob).
News for me is more exciting however, since I am now the owner of a 64sqm 1 bedroom apartment in Ultimo! Just waiting for the settlement date of 15th of Jan 2007 to rock around. Should be quite an experience I think, with most of my birthday and christmas presents being things for the kitchen or the apartment. Lots of food and kitcheny things = win I reckon.
Anyways the plan tonight is to go out to dinner with friends in the city, followed by attending a garden party with family friends in Schoey. Should be okay I reckon, but I will have to drive back to Matto to drop CM home. Might need to buy some fuel sometime then... up to 688km for the moment but there are many km to be done tonight.
Anyways must get ready to go on the journey interstate (ha) and yes... see you all in 2007!
