Yes that's right I now have fast net - ADSL2+... which is quite fwoa. I don't need to leech off some other guy's wireless any more. (doo dee doo).
So yes since I went with Internode I took up the offer of Annex M and before I dive into technobabble, I'm basically going to be hosting some websites and email and stuff from home. So one of the first ones to move where once I get everything sorted will be Hawkesbury People and Places... which isn't really sitting anywhere at the moment. Well, it is, but it's a bit hard to access atm.
Otherwise for those less technically minded the move to Ultimo is not yet complete - I fear it never will be! I may still be sleeping on a mattress on the floor, but at least I have most of this place painted (looks pretty spiffy too) mostly thanks to Cynthia and my Parent for helping. I will take more photos later... but I do have some "in action" shots as the chocolate brown wall and various other very ordinary off-white walls become far less ordinary.
I watched the two new Top Gears.... pretty good I must say. Good to see Hammond made it through his accident OK... although he looks dreadfully exhausted.
So yes as soon as I get more things set up here (like am uber quiet computer to host some websites), I'll probably be offering hosting to peoples who want it. It will be in Syndey and I have about 2mbit of upload to play around with, so it should be pretty spiffy and fast.
In other news, well, there isn't really a whole lot. I have been cooking for myself to those who question my ability, and I have also been getting to bed before midnight every night! Gosh...
Walking to work is pretty good too. The walk takes about 27 minutes or so... and being free, should save me a bit of dosh... I haven't bought fuel in weeks. Sure, the bills and homeloan sucks, but hey... This is what moving out is all about, I guess.
Ryan was supposed to rock up tonight after a hurried call as I walked home... he claimed to be able to get here, despite me not telling him the address... hmm! Naturally, he didn't turn up. Oh well. Next time. I tempted him with free parking, so he should cotton on pretty quickly.
I haven't been playing the Rhodes a whoe lot yet (I did bring it along) but I do miss my upright sooo much. Oh well. I guess with the Rhodes it's good to turn it up to hide the mechanical clack of the funky action (heh and by funky I mean... well... basic) but I just don't know how loud I can play it without people complaining.... I guess there is one way to find out....
Otherwise tomorrow Mum will be coming around for 3 or so nights, which will be good. Company is great... something I need sometimes being all by my self here... *ahem*.
I've started a bit of a swimming club haha... well I plan on learning how to swim a bit better and I reckon if I'm paying strata, I might as well use the facilities. I think the games room is closed at the moment (not sure why but there are 2 sulo bins in there at the moment....)... so yes each Friday I plan on going swimming. Now I just need to get some real swimmers.
That'll do for the moment... Oh boy do bills suck when you have to pay for them yourself!!
