Well I've been busy looking for furniture lately and I have actually purchased some... thanks to the craziness of ANZAC day, I went to Ikea with Rex and came back with 2 swivel chairs which are mega comfy. Still no lounge, but oh well.
I'm also in the market for a TV... thinking of a 32" LCD or so. Probably built in HD tuner just to make things easier, but if it's more than $200 extra then I wouldn't bother. I went into Bing Lee and had a bit of a squizz and despite watching the displayed footage of a band with a rhodes suitcase (they weren't actually playing it at the time and the sound was off anyways), I didn't buy anything. Still, need to keep researching.
I think I'll go for another wander out now for more furniture... it is looking a little less bare in here with a bookcase, 2 swivel chairs and a tall rice paper lamp (which is the bomb and is shaped like a giant ten pin bowling pin). I still need to get some dining stuff and make my bed! Argh.
