Look, another blog!

Well I've just about finished configuring all of the mail options and stuff for my site now.. argh took longer than I thought it was, particularly when I had all of the mail from all domains forwarded into one account :|

Anyways, on to other topics... Just listening to a bit of Frankie Knuckles at the moment. Not too bad a mix I must say from new year's day 2006. Otherwise I have been tidying up my apartment because it gets so messy so quickly during the week and midnight on a school night is of course the best time to clean it up. I have blended all of my pumpkin soup now so it is all ready to go, frozen. I think it just needs a hint of peanut butter when it's reheated and it will be perfect with some crusty bread.

In other news, I've got a project lunch tomorrow at the Argyle, so that should be a pretty good afternoon. The main purpose is to enjoy yourself because of all of the hard work we have *cough* put into the project, but of course, it's not over yet... I think it will be all done sometime in November.. but perhaps later if things go sour...

I haven't been playing my rhodes lately all that much, but I have been keeping an eye on this site. It's quite exciting although I doubt I will buy a new Rhodes because the cost will be too much, before we even factor in the shipping cost. I was thinking of getting a new preamp for mine anyways, but that hasn't happened yet because it would end up being more than a third of the cost of the piano...
Damn shipping from the US is pricey!!

I've been looking at some speakers which are cheaper to import from the US including shipping than to buy here. I've already got a couple (dual concentric vifa tweeters) in my centre speaker, so grabbing a couple more for a good deal can't be a bad decision. I'm not sure what I'll use them on yet (being 4 ohm n all) but they will come in handy in the future should I build a killer speaker.

Anyways back to the tidying up now. I plan on blogging more now that this is hosted on my server, but we will see. I bet this site becomes neglected again pretty soon...
