Happy New Year - 2008

Yes I might as well join in the rest of the crowd by wishing everyone else a happy new year...

As lame as it is, I might as well use that title as an excuse to make a blog. In the meantime, I have many projects to be completed this year (hopefully) which include:

• Tiling my kitchen and perhaps changing the kitchen cupboard doors
• Finishing off the handrail near my front door
• Actually doing some work on da scene
• Doing a blog here and there (hey, anything is possible)
• Finally finding some wheels for my car (black steelies is not so great a look I reckon)
• Building a sub which can handle 15hz at a level of -3db (without having a 400L box and dual 15" drivers... if it is possible)
• Making a photo frame from timber found on my parent's "Farm"
• Doing something with the dead snake that I have been keeping "for a rainy day"
• Building a bed
• Building some form of tv/media entertainment thingo for my TV/amp/etc.
• Doing more work on my Mum's website (www.hawkesbury.org)
• Buying a fake book and learning some improv over jazz standards
• Joining a band and figuring out how to get my rhodes into the car without the help of another person
• Building a pair of carpeted, handled, go-anywhere, grilled speakers with some form of power amp to hook up to my piano

...and I'm sure there are heaps more where that came from.

That'll do for now as it is hot and I wish to do something else that doesn't involve sitting here or typing (is that possible??).
