Just a quick blog before I head off to bed... I've been working on this new framework for building websites. So far the working title is 'blu' however I have involved Boyter now so lets see where it goes.
The plan is to port this site over (this has begun already) to the new system which should mean it all looks the same but is a whole lot easier for me to look after. The main difference is that at the moment I am using an older version of the 'nx' php framework, and blu uses python. This means re-writing pretty much all of this site, however, it also means cleaning up a lot of code and also testing out the new framework.
The whole point? Well since I have kicked off the da scene project (Boyter is helping, hopefully!!) I decided the blu framework needs a bit more maturing until it is ready to build other more complex apps in. Therefore... why not port nisch.org into blu to test out if it really is going to work?
Yep that's enough ramblings that nobody will ever understand, I'm off to bed.
