David O'Doherty

Well lets go for the impossible and another blog in as many days (or maybe 3).

Last night I went to see David O'Doherty at the Metro Theatre with Rex. He was pretty good I have to say! For those not in the know, he is an Irish comedian who makes humour from pop culture (music, video games, twitter, myspace, etc) and plays a dinky little Yamaha keyboard (which sounds positively awful - but that's the point).

It was a full house and he was quite funny (check Youtube if you wanna see what the fuss is all about).

I also picked up Ada last night (had to leave work early, rush down to Allawah station and walk for a bit) from being serviced. Now she smells all clean and perfumy inside. Had all the timing belts and what-not done so it was a big job but I didn't exactly feel like the challenge...

For dinner we had sushi train at the George St cinemas which was pretty disappointing I have to say. Not much variety and most of the sushi was pretty boring. We can make better! I will have to post photos of our latest attempt at making sushi - I was quite proud of what we created last weekend.

Anyways not too sure what I'll get up to today but the weather looks OK (although BOM says there might be rain later...) but I'm sure I can neglect this blog once today is over and nobody will know what is going on.

Oh btw yes the Japan blog is still coming, there are about 12 entries but I've only typed up a couple properly... so I suppose I should get around to that some day - just not on such a nice day as this!
