Attempting to Vote

Right so it's time to vote today? Yes. So off I go to the local public school to vote, as per normal. The sun is shining and there is a slight breeze and everything feels normal.

I get to my local public school and there is no-one shoving propaganda in my face.. hmm.. must be outlawed these days. Ah well. Carry on.

I get into the school premises and there is a guy in a full-size Star Wars Storm Trooper outfit talking to (what I presume) his daughter, finishing each sentence with a "kerrshpppt", as if he is talking on a walkie talkie.

Righto, that's obviously not The Greens party, but I carried on regardless. There are a few people around but the majority seems to be kids. OK. So people must bring their kids voting and leave them outside while voting. Sounds normal.

Turns out there is some Japanese class thing on and this is not the voting place. Why change it? It's always been there in the past. I find some other guy who also is looking to vote and he offers to ask the lady in the front desk of his apartment block to find out where to vote.

The local TAFE turns out to be the place to vote, so I did that and it was over. Phew. What a pain!

Question is, where can you get a Star Trooper custume from? That was really awesome.
